Diploma Policy

Master’s degree will be awarded to those who have acquired all of the following abilities by studying each domain.

• The ability to understand the causes of disasters, to prepare for disasters and to take measures after disasters
• The ability to understand people’s state of mind and behavior and to promote disaster resilience and governance with the cooperation of various parties
• The logicality and creativity to pioneer new fields based on educational research regarding disaster resilience and governance

Doctor’s degree will be awarded to those who have acquired the following abilities by studying each field.

• The ability to establish advanced theories regarding fields related to disaster resilience
• The ability to exercise creativity when theorizing and systemizing disaster resilience and governance and to disseminate such information academically
• The ability to make a proposal logically regarding disaster resilience and governance from an objective point of view
